	My name is Jeff Stevens. I'm the owner/outfitter and primary guide of Kansas Big Boys. I've been in business eight years which has given me the opportunity to learn the do's and don'ts of the outfitting business. I've learned what my clients come to expect when they go on a quality guided hunt, and have made adjustments yearly to do just that. Due to the recent increase of out-of-state hunters, it has increased the volume of outfitters - BUYER BEWARE.

To help you locate a quality guided hunt, here are a few things to ask when booking a hunt

How many years in business?

How many hunters in camp per week?

What did they harvest, specifically not just the largest?

What is the quality of lodging?

What kind of tree stands do they use?

What is the hunter to guide ratio?

What kind of transportation vehicle is used?

How much hunting is done on property before I arrive?

How far is the lodging from the hunting property?

Do you have references?
